Host: Chris – AAS EMT-P
Chris obtained his Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) license in 2016 from Mesa Community College. After graduation, Chris landed his first EMT job at a substance abuse rehabilitation and detoxification center outside Phoenix. Chris worked at the facility for two years as an EMT working his way into a supervisor role. During this time his insatiable appetite to further his education pushed him to re-enroll in the Paramedic program at Mesa Community College. Having graduated from Mesa Community College with his Paramedic license in 2018, Chris started his road career in Mesa as a paramedic working both critical care interfacility transports and high volume 911. Chris spent two years in Mesa as a paramedic before moving back to the Midwest in 2020. Chris obtained his Associates in Applied Science in 2021 and is currently enrolled at Northern Arizona University to complete his Bachelor’s of Science with ambitions to complete his Masters in Public Health thereafter. Chris is currently employed by an ALS provider serving an impoverished county with a population of a little more than 48,000 residents.
